A fine early 18th century ebony and ormolu mounted fusee bracket clock c1710 by William Martin, Guildhall, London. William Martin was admitted as a member of the Clockmakers’ Company in 1709. The original unreliable verge escapement was converted to an anchor escapement c1750-1760. In full working order. This clock has been overhauled by a professional member of the British Horological Association. Dimensions: 25.5cm wide x 17cm deep x 48cm tall.
