Stuart’s desert pea lithograph

USD 0.00

A fabulous lithograph with its original hand colouring of Stuart’s desert pea, now known as Swainsona formosa but in 1858 when this image was published in “Florist, Fruit & Garden Miscellany” the plant was known as Clianthus danpieri. And that name refers to the fact that William Dampier collected specimens in 1699 in Western Australia! The work has been professionally conserved.
